Meet the Lil Dill Pickle

This tiny crochet pickle is:

  • beginner-friendly

  • ridiculously fast to make

  • and dangerously easy to mass-produce

🧶 Materials

  • Chunky yarn (chenille recommended) I used Bernat Blanket

  • 5 or 6mm hook- if you crochet tightly I recommend the 6.

  • Safety eyes - I use these from Amazon.

  • Stuffing/polyfil. Just a pinch!

✂️ Abbreviations

  • SC – single crochet

  • MR – magic ring

  • DEC- single crochet two stitches together.

🧶 Notes

  • Worked in continuous rounds

  • No sewing required

  • Perfect beginner project

R1:
MR, SC x8 (8)

R2–R5:
SC around (8)

Want a longer pickle? Add more rounds!

Add the Face

  • Insert safety eyes between R3–R4

  • Add a small embroidered smile if you’re feeling it!

Stuff lightly.

R6:

DEC around (4) and sew the remaining 4 stitches together. Leave a long tail to sew the pickle label on, about 6”.
